The StaSafe® Inflation Test Kit accurately measures the air tightness of a Total Encapsulating Garment (TEG). The TEG should be tested after each use and at least once every six months to ensure its integrity. Simple instructions with the kit describe a procedure of replacing one of the dump valves with the test adapter. The kit includes a pressure gauge, rubber stoppers, extension hose and a valve with connector. Rubber stopper replacement packs and the Retrofit jig are also available. Utilizing this kit allows the wearer to comply with the ASTM F1052 standard that measures the air tight integrity of the TEG/Level A garments.
