ChemMaster®

The StaSafe® ChemMaster® is made from a strong, flexible chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) fabric that has built-in flame and chemical resistance. All ChemMaster® suits come with the SealTite® glove assembly. This assembly provides a liquid-tight, vapor-tight seal when worn with one of our beaded gloves that offers optimum protection from splashes on the wearer’s forearm. Neoprene gloves provide superior chemical resistance and can be removed and replaced quickly. All ChemMaster® suits have an expanded back providing plenty of room for an SCBA and have the All-Purpose Hood, which offers an extra large window providing unhampered head movement and reinforced elbows and knees. Pressure-sealing zipper with T-handles for easy donning and doffing are available on both front and rear entry suits. CPE stocking-foot booties are sewn and armored to the leg. Durable chemical boots with steel shank and toe - fit over the booties. Options available include, vent system, air pass-throughs, AC, or reinforcing the crotch or seat areas. Every ChemMaster® must comply with the ASTM1052 inflation testing standard to ensure it’s air-tight integrity before leaving the factory. ChemMaster® suits are manufactured to order. Front Entry

A pressure-sealing zipper with a flap covering the zipper extending from the shoulder crossing the body to the opposite side knee area for ease of donning and doffing.

Rear Entry

A pressure-sealing zipper extending from the crown nearly to the crotch area for ease of donning and doffing.

Black Butyl

Per the glove manufacturer, this glove has a fabric lining, chemical resistance for very corrosive acids, ketones, esters and amine derivatives with unrivaled flexibility and dexterity.

Black Neoprene

Per the glove manufacturer: “Broad chemical resistance (acids, aliphatic solvents, solvent mixtures), increased by the thickness of the material. Good grip, due to embossed texture. Easy to pull on and off, due to chlorinated interior. The two neoprene layers superimposed increase the mechanical and chemical resistance. The glove red inner lay ensures that any wear is clearly visible"

Heavy Duty Black Neoprene

According to the glove manufacturer – this glove has “superior chemical resistance against acids and alkalis, such as concentrated hydrofluoric acid, oils, and greases” It also offers some insulation from hot liquids due to the cotton lining.

Attached Footwear-ChemMaster

Attached Hazmax® Over-the-shoe Boots

Over-the-shoe Hazmax® boot fits over most shoes and boots and provides excellent chemical resistance. It has a seamless one-piece injection mold construction from a high viscosity flexible PVC that has been permanently attached/sealed to the end of the leg. This seal is liquid and vapor tight

Attached Hazmax® Steel-toe Boots

Green Hazmax® boot with a steel toe that complies with ASTM F2413-05 and CSA Z195 and a steel shank and midsole. that has been permanently attached/sealed to the end of the leg. The one-piece PVC boot construction makes this a suitable boot for use in environments involving chemicals. The seal is liquid and vapor tight.

Attached CPE Stocking Foot Booties

CPE Stocking Foot Booties are made from CPE fabric and permanently attached to the leg cuff. This bootie is comfortable and shaped to fit smoothly into a work boot. A flap is permanently attached to the outer leg area and drapes over the top of the boot reducing the opportunity for splashes to enter the inside of the work boot. Boots must be worn over the booties.

PVC Composite-toe Boots

PVC boot with a Composite safety-toe that meets ASTM F2413 M/I/75/C/75 EH*. This boot is 100% waterproof, does not transfer cold or set off metal detectors. The outsole provides slip resistance as well as has a chemical resistance to fats, oils, certain acids, alkalies, petroleum hydrocarbons, and other chemicals. *Boot offers some electrical hazard protection. Contact Customer Service for specific electrical hazard protection information.

Cover Window-ChemMaster

40 mil Cover Window and window flaps included.

40 mil thick field replaceable cover window to protect the sealed window from scratches, nicks and/or other minor damage. Flaps are added around the TEG window. The bottom flap has drain holes in the bottom and an extra splash flap. The cover window fits inside the window frame flaps surrounding the sealed window.
