AcidMaster®

The StaSafe® AcidMaster® is an ideal protective suit for many situations, providing excellent protection against a broad range of chemicals. All AcidMaster® garments come with the SealTite® glove assembly. This assembly provides a liquid-tight, vapor-tight seal when worn with one of our beaded gloves that offers optimum protection. In addition, all AcidMaster® garments have an expanded back providing plenty of room for an SCBA and comes with an All-Purpose Hood, which offers an extra large window providing unhampered head movement. Pressure-sealing zippers with T-handles for easy donning and doffing are available on both front and rear entry suits. Available with molded PVC boots or stocking-foot booties. Options available include, vent system, air pass-throughs, AC, or reinforcing patches at the knee, elbow or crotch. Every AcidMaster® must comply with the ASTM F1052 inflation testing standard to ensure its air-tight integrity before leaving the factory. AcidMaster® designs are manufactured to order. Entry-AcidMaster

Front Entry

A pressure-sealing zipper with a flap covering the zipper extending from the shoulder crossing the body to the opposite side knee area for ease of donning and doffing.

Rear Entry

A pressure-sealing zipper extending from the crown nearly to the crotch area for ease of donning and doffing.

Gloves for PVC Fabrics AO

Blue Kevlar®-Lined Triple-Dipped PVC

Triple-dipped PVC-coated glove with a textured layer covering the hand portion of the glove to about the wrist and having a liner made with Kevlar® to provide cut resistance as well as chemical protection. This glove has ANSI Level 3 cut protection.

Heavy duty neoprene

According to the glove manufacturer – this glove has “superior chemical resistance against acids and alkalis, such as concentrated hydrofluoric acid, oils, and greases” It also offers some insulation from hot liquids due to the cotton lining.

Attached Footwear-AcidMaster

Attached PVC Composite-Safety-Toe Boots

PVC boot with a Composite safety-toe that meets ASTM F2413 M/I/75/C/75 EH*. This boot is 100% waterproof, does not transfer cold or set off metal detectors. The outsole provides slip resistance as well as has a chemical resistance to fats, oils, certain acids, alkalies, petroleum hydrocarbons, and other chemicals. *Boot offers some electrical hazard protection. Contact Customer Service for specific electrical hazard protection information.

Attached Hazmax® Over-the-shoe Boots

Over-the-shoe Hazmax® boot fits over most shoes and boots and provides excellent chemical resistance. It has a seamless one-piece injection mold construction from a high viscosity flexible PVC that has been permanently attached/sealed to the end of the leg. This seal is liquid and vapor tight.

Attached Hazmax® Steel-toe Boots

Green Hazmax® boot with a steel toe that complies with ASTM F2413-05 and CSA Z195 and a steel shank and midsole. that has been permanently attached/sealed to the end of the leg. The one-piece PVC boot construction makes this a suitable boot for use in environments involving chemicals The seal is liquid and vapor tight

Attached Molded Black PVC Boots

Molded PVC Boots are made of chemically resistant molded PVC with 3/16" thick soles for protection from corrosive chemicals that have been permanently attached/sealed to the end of the leg. These boots are designed to fit over shoes or light work boots. The seal is liquid and vapor tight.

Attached PVC Stocking Foot Booties

PVC Stocking Foot Booties are molded and permanently attached to the leg cuff. This bootie is seamless, comfortable and shaped to fit smoothly into a work boot. A flap is permanently attached to the outer leg area and drapes over the top of the boot reducing the opportunity for splashes to enter the inside of the work boot. Boots must be worn over the booties.

Cover Window-AcidMaster

40 mil Cover Window and window frames included

Includes a 40 mil thick field replaceable cover window to protect the sealed window from scratches, nicks and/or other minor damage. Flaps are added around the TEG window. The bottom flap has drain holes in the bottom and an extra splash flap. The cover window fits inside the window frame flaps surrounding the sealed window.

No Cover Window

The window flaps and cover window are not included in this design.

TEG Cover Window Replacement-AcidMaster SS AO

807-8006-0050 - 40 mil Cover Window

40 mil thick field replaceable cover window to protect the sealed window from scratches, nicks and/or other minor damage. Flaps are added around the TEG window. The bottom flap has drain holes in the bottom and an extra splash flap. The cover window fits inside the window frame flaps surrounding the sealed window. Sold as a quantity of 1.

AC-Vent-AcidMaster

AC Unit

Adding an air-conditioning unit helps to keep the environment inside the garment comfortable. We offer a variety of AC units in cool only or cool/warm. Contact our Customer Service to determine which units are available with this suit.

Vent

A vent is added to improve the comfort level of interior suit environment while in use. This representative photo does not show the additional two hoses connected to the ports for leg ventilation.

Reinforced Crotch-AcidMaster

An extra triangular patch of garment fabric is sewn and sealed in the crotch region for added strength.

Reinforced Elbows-AcidMaster

The elbow, knee and seat regions are more at risk for cuts, tears and wear in some conditions. For added protection, an extra layer of fabric is sewn into the seams and sealed with the seams as well as on the top and bottom of the extra panel.

Reinforced Knees-AcidMaster

Addition of 1 or 2 pockets available

1 or 2 pockets can be sealed onto many of our garments. Standard pockets come with drain holes in the bottom. Current pocket sizes offered are: 5" x 6" (no drain holes), 5" x 9", 7" x 7" and 10" x 10". The pocket will be manufactured from the same fabric as the garment. More Photos 3

+/- 3" increments to sleeve length available

The design of our garments allows for non-binding movements such as reaching, bending, stooping, sitting, squatting etc. for the typical height and stature per size. For taller or shorter users we will customize the standard garment, sleeve or leg length plus or minus in 3" increments to allow a custom fit. Contact our Customer Service Department for more information.

Addition of hang-up loops

A heavy duty ring attached to the garment for easy storage. This ring is NOT to be used as a rescue-ring.

Retrieval D-Ring Available SS

A Retrieval D-Ring can be added at an additional fee to any TEG. FACTORY INSTALLATION ONLY

GraLite® 20

GraLite® 20 is recommended for more severe corrosive and abrasive conditions because of its 24 mils to 26 mils thickness. With a PVC coating on one side, GraLite® 20 has proven itself to be a rugged, durable protective fabric.

WinterGlo 20

WinterGlo® 20 is 24 mils to 26 mils thick and offers outstanding chemical resistance. WinterGlo 20 is easily identified by its one side coating and our proprietary PVC formulation keeps fabric soft and flexible year round.
